As a second generation Broker, Damon Heim provides a unique perspective and sense of professionalism to each transaction. Damon’s father, Terry, has nearly 50 years of experience in the real estate industry, and from a young age stressed the value of hard work, prompt service, honest dealings, and attention to detail. As a result, Damon strives to provide each of his clients with a stress free process from start to finish, and prides himself on being extremely accessible seven days a week, day and night, to handle time sensitive matters and provide the utmost in customer service whenever convenient to his clients. Damon maintains an active presence in his Board of Realtors, in the past serving in all Board chairs and continually volunteering to provide input by way of several different specialty committees. He also finds time to assist in volunteer and charitable activities throughout the community, over course of time being involved with the Jo Daviess Conservation Foundation and The Galena Education Foundation, and additionally volunteering time to the Illinois Special Olympics.

Education – Damon graduated from Galena High School as the salutatorian of his high school class in 1999. Post high school, Damon matriculated to the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he studied Political Science specifically focused on a pre-law curriculum, and in 2003 earned his Bachelor of Arts with Academic Distinction honors.

Professional – Damon is a member of the Illinois Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. He was honored as the Rising Star Award Winner in 2004 from the Freeport-Galena Area Association of Realtors, and in 2008 became the youngest President in the history of his 200+ member Board of Realtors. In 2011 Damon was honored by his peers as the Realtor Association of Northwestern Illinois “Realtor of the Year”, and honor previously bestowed upon his father in 1999. Damon embraces any continuing education opportunities available, and has attended many state, local, and national seminars in order to keep an active pulse on the ever changing landscape of the real estate industry. He has received numerous sales designations from Coldwell Banker, including Coldwell Banker International President’s Premier status in 2020 and 2021 (Top 1% of all Coldwell Banker Sales Associates and Representatives worldwide).

Personal – Damon is an avid sports fan, and a Wisconsin Badger through and through. He has attended nearly every Wisconsin Men’s Basketball home game since 2004, traveled cross country to the Rose Bowl, and travels regularly to visit his alma mater in Madison, Wisconsin. He also enjoys spending time with his family, and is a father of two.
